A Wild Weekend in the NFL Playoffs…

What an INSANE weekend of football we had ladies and gentlemen! As always though, this isn’t a newsletter about X’s and O’s this is one about the stories that aren’t scrolling across ESPN this morning. So let's break down all the weirdest stories the NFL had to offer this weekend.

To start why in the world would the NFL repost this sign on their Twitter account? The sign held by a Detroit fan during the playoff game between the Lions and Buccaneers that referenced taking out kneecaps of the Vikings and Rams has been perceived by some as a deliberate shot at injured tight ends T.J. Hockenson and Tyler Higbee.

NFL players took to Twitter PISSED OFF coming at this sign. Among those is Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson, who wrote "Yall wild for posting this" and "This ain't cool!!"

These three guys may have lost, but they proved to be worthy of starting QBs in the NFL and will get paid this offseason big money. But the script, it sadly had no for of these guys, and the refs made sure of it! Missing call after call in favor of the 49ers and Ravens. Although both teams deservingly won, it seems they had some help.

In the 49ers game, Brock Purdy had a couple of calls sway his way especially this one that should clearly have been intentional grounding. Purdy let it fly out of bounds from the pocket! This would have backed them up and caused a loss of down, instead, this drive resulted in a TD for San Fran a few plays later.

Also, on this QB sneak, Jordan Love clearly crosses the first down but was never given it and they turned the ball over.

And in the Ravens game, Lamar Jackson was insane, but has a secret that you probably didn’t know that I just revealed on our Foul Play YT ⬇️

But I mean hey maybe this all makes sense since this image was shown on TV yesterday of a news channel showing an ad for the 49ers vs Ravens Super Bowl (one that doesn’t exist yet). We have already talked about the Super Bowl logo conspiracy, which now seems to be a step closer after this weekend. 

Fast forward to the Sunday, the Bills Chiefs again was miraculous. But Bills fans have stayed some of the wildest people on the planet.

So about halfway through their season, when the team was struggling, one fan happened to have too much to drink and stumbled by the construction zone for their new stadium. The Bills are building a massive new stadium right next to their old one, but right now it’s just a giant hole.

So long story short, this drunken fan had hopped the fence and fell in the hole. He had to be rescued to get out of there. But the Bills won that game. So other fans got word and since then they have been diving into that hole game after game, sacrificing themselves for the win. And last night it happened again, this time tho, it ended in a loss.

This is another loss to Pat Mahomes. Who pretty much just owns the Bills in the playoffs. But this one is on them, OLineman Dion Dawkins, warned Patrick before the game saying “Good Luck” in what was an extremely poorly timed, cocky move.

So obviously after beating them again, this time at home, Patrick posted an IG picture with the caption, “Good Luck” trolling the Bills even more.

But hey maybe it was warranted since the Bills had turned off the Chiefs hot water after their game in the player locker room. Just the Bills once again causing another case of Foul Play…
