Who is Tommy Devito’s Agent: Sean Stellato…
This is Sean Stellato and he may be the real-life Tony Soprano of NFL agents.
See, for many New York Giants fans, the season was lost.
The team started the year with a 40-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and were just 2-7 when they faced the Las Vegas Raiders on November 5. That’s when starting quarterback Daniel Jones went down with a torn ACL. In a gruesome twist of fate, backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor sustained a rib injury just one week prior, making him unavailable, too.
It was the final nail in the coffin of the Giants’ 2023 season. Or, at least, that’s how it seemed.
New York Giant’s QB, Tommy Devito’s, first start.
Then stepped in the Italian sensation Tommy Devito. The Giants’ third-string, undrafted, rookie quarterback. DeVito lives with his parents and eats chicken cutlets for dinner. He does press in a black tank top and a diamond-encrusted “TD” chain. He is the true embodiment of all things New Jersey and the fans have fallen in love with him.
Oh did I tell you he’s actually winning games too?
On Monday night Tommy looked outstanding and stole a win against the Packers. But what really stole the show was his agent Sean Stellato. During Monday night, it was impossible to miss the Rat Pack-era presence of his agent, Sean Stellato, who set the internet ablaze with his black fedora, pinstripe suit, and smooch-filled celebration with Mr. DeVito’s father, Tom.
In a simulcast of the game, Peyton Manning referred to Mr. Stellato as Johnny Fontane, the matinee idol and crooner from “The Godfather.” But the ultimate endorsement came on social media from Stevie Van Zandt, the celebrated musician and actor, who compared Mr. Stellato to Silvio, the character Mr. Van Zandt played on HBO’s “The Sopranos.”
In real life, Sean is an underdog agent who grinds for everything he’s got. Sean is one of the hardest-working men in football. Apparently, he has over 30 custom-tailored suits and is never seen in public not rocking one.
The Massachusetts native played for several seasons in the Arena Football League before creating his sports agency, located in a suburb of Boston. SES Sports cites a client list on its website that includes DeVito and the only other notable name is former running back Alfred Morris.
The Tommy Cutlet Era is taking over the NFL and the internet so it will be interesting to see if Sean can keep this success going or will it be another case of Foul Play…
