The NFL has a Referee Crisis...
The NFL has a Referee Crisis...
The NFL has REFEREE CRISIS on their hands…
Despite claiming everything is fair game… the NFL defines itself as an entertainment business rather than solely a sport. Meaning they are more focused on keeping the viewer entertained than they are on keeping the competition fair.
Now that’s what any tin foil hat-wearing conspirator will tell you. And whether it’s true or not the referees this season have been pushing that agenda.
But, I think I know the solution to fix this.
To do so tho, let’s start back at the beginning of this season. This year has been riddled with terrible officiating starting back in week 1. The NFL started its season with a banger of a game between the Lions and the Chiefs. The Lions shocked the NFL world and beat Patrick Mahomes and the reigning champs in their own house. But what stood out wasn’t just the Lions’ great play, it was Chiefs tackle Jawann Taylor cheating the whole game.
Taylor was matched up with Aiden Hutchinson nearly all night who was causing absolute chaos in the backfield. But the issue here was Taylor false started nearly every pass play the entire game, and only was called on it once.
Play after play, Taylor left the line of scrimmage early to get the jump on Hutchinson. This is very illegal, but a technique that linemen have been using for the past two years to get an edge.
However, Taylor took it to a new extreme, even kicking his foot early nearly every play.

Although they lost, the missed calls kept the Chiefs alive the entire game. It makes sense for the NFL to want their star QB and reigning Super Bowl champs to continue their success, especially if the script says their Hall Of Fame TE is gonna start dating the most famous woman in the world…
And that wasn’t the only time for the Chiefs throughout the season, they get the benefit of the doubt in nearly every game they play. Let’s fast forward to Week 5. Minnesota Vikings fans were left speechless after their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a heartbreaker that came down to the final snap, but what really left these fans livid was the refs down the stretch.
Trailing 27-20 with just under five minutes left in the fourth quarter and facing 4th and 12, Kirk Cousins took a shot to rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison in the end-zone. Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed impeded Addison's attempt at a catch, and the ref closest to the play threw the flag for pass interference.
The penalty would've given the Vikings the football at the one-yard line with a chance to tie the game. However, the refs got together and reversed the call, giving the ball back to the Chiefs, a turnover on downs.
To make matters worse, Sneed took his helmet off to argue with the officials after the pass interference was called. By rule, that's an automatic penalty and it wouldn't have given Minnesota a first down but the Chiefs would've been pushed back to start their next possession. However the refs shockingly just told Sneed to put his helmet back on, giving him a second chance.
When you think about it outside of the Chiefs being the face of the league and Super Bowl champs, it makes clear sense why the NFL would want to help them.
The NFL, like we said is an entertainment company, and the Swifties are the biggest market in the world. Once Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating, NFL viewership among teen girls in particular spiked by 53%. The collective growth resulted in an approximate viewership increase of more than 2 million female viewers.
This is huge money for the NFL and it is a new audience made up of mostly women who weren’t interested in prior games. All of these new viewers have the same new favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
So do you think the NFL would want their new fans to see a heartbreaking late penalty be the reason they lose their first game? Not at all, they want to reel these viewers in and a winning team is the best way to do so…
Now through both of these games we have discussed, you can see the common theme:
The referees are bad and used as pawns.
So let’s shift our attention to the Philadelphia Eagles. I am a Dolphins fan and may have some bias based on the atrocity I saw take place in Philly in Week 7.
But this was a catastrophically poor performance from the officiating crew.
There was a total of 15 missed calls on the Eagles presented in the NFL post-game report. The Eagles favored the Dolphins 10-0 in calls against.
I break down each and every call here in the full-length YouTube video ⬇️
I have truly never seen a more rigged game in my history as a fan or just watching football. Even the Eagles fans around me were just as confused and they are usually assholes.
In this video, I break down the Bills vs Eagles game as well as other miscellaneous misses throughout the season.
But in the end, I offer A SOLUTION TO SOLVE THIS MESS…
So go check it out on YouTube!!
But for now, I am gonna have to deem NFL Officiating as another case of Foul Play…
